The Office of the Chancellor is seeking proposals for the following four projects: 1. BioBusiness Clearinghouse and Digital Learning Library: A virtual “one-stop shop” to connect and provide information about the four initiative projects, and other digital resources related to biobusiness knowledge transfer.
2. Professional Development Workshops for Faculty/Teachers: A series of professional development workshops for system faculty and staff along with middle- and high-school teachers.
3. BioBusiness Internship/Externship Program: A program that will increase the availability of internships for students and externships for faculty in private companies, system universities, and research institutions.
4. K-12 Partnership Project: A project to advance the understanding of bioscience, biotechnology, biobusiness and related careers among middle- and/or high-school students.
